The Game of Thrones alum, 27, and Swift, 33, were seen holding hands on Tuesday while out on the town in New York City. After eating at a restaurant, the two made their way to Temple Bar on Lafayette Street.
Turner wore a grey crop top and baggy trousers for their girls’ night out. She wore a black jumper knotted around her waist and gripped a black purse.
Swift wore a red minidress with an oversized denim jacket, and she looked chic. She also donned little green purse and brown knee-high boots.
After four years of marriage, Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Turner earlier this month. The outing follows that. According to the documents obtained, which said that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”
Jonas and Turner also shared a joint statement on their Instagram pages where they insisted the split was a mutual decision. “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,’” they wrote.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” the pair added.
The former couple share daughter Willa, 3, and a second daughter, who was identified as “D.,14 months,” in the divorce documents.
Swift was romantically linked to Jonas in 2008 with the then 18-year-old “Style” singer telling Ellen DeGeneres that Jonas broke up with her in a 27-second phone call.
Jonas also addressed the breakup in a 2018 MySpace post, claiming that he did not abruptly end their chat. He continued by saying that certain “issues” caused a “change of heart” in their relationship.
“For those who have expressed concern over the ’27 second’ phone call, I called to discuss feelings with the other person,” he wrote. “Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk.”
Swift has been keeping herself busy after winning a record-breaking nine MTV Music Awards. She was seen having dinner at Il Buco Alimentari on Monday with the actors Zoe Kravitz and Laura Dern, and she was also seen leaving New York’s Zero Bond restaurant with Blake Lively on Saturday night.
